55miles road ride at 17.5mph. Pleased with that. Caught up with a guy (Ed) from Rushden who told me all about Marmotte. He was putting me off a bit really. Sounded like total exhaustion. I'm sure with my programme of Sportives and in the words of the great Fausto Coppi... "if you want to be a good bike rider... ride a bike, then ride a bike, then ride a bike some more"
- I'll get round. Especially with only 18lbs to ride on.

Happy birthday Col. Pecker up! You're young really on the Eon scale anyway. :-)
